AUCTIONEERS' KEPOIiTS. 'XIMAEtT. Messrs Maclean and Stewart report for the past week ending Saturday as follows : Horses - 40 horses of various descriptions were to-cl*y entered at their yards for sale, consisting of a, few medium draughts ami the balance ordinary hacks. Fur the former c'ass there was no demand, but about a backs changed hands at from £b" to £l4. The demand for draughts they do not anticipate will become brisk until near harvest, when they expect goo I sorts will be wanted.
Sheep—The principal business at preseut being done in store sheep is in half-bred and crossbred hoggets. For these there is an active enquiry, and a good many lots have changed bands at full prices. Merino cwt-s with lambs are also in dema id. They have held no auction sales this we -Ic, ut have sold p rivately over 1000 cro-s----bred hoggets at satisfactory prices. Th -y ciuoie present values from 10s to lis Gel for crossbred hoggets ; merino ewes wich lambs, 10s to lis Cd. Fat sheep no v oflVifd for sale are all shorn, and valu'* may be quoted at fully 2d per lb, at which price they have made private sales.
Cattle—Store cattle are in rather better demand, though prices offered are low. They have sold privately a line of aboub 100' head at satisfactory prices. Fat Cattie—Prime beef is worth from 17s 6J to 20s per 1001 b.

Sydney, Nov. 28. New Zealand wheat, per bushel, is »t 2s 9d ; Nev/ Zealand oats, 3j ; imiizr, 4s 6d. Sugar Company's No. 1 pieces, per ton, £3l. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Nov. 27. At the wool sales to-day a quieter tone prevailed, and scoured wools are weaker. Nov. 28. Colonial breadstuff's and tallow are unchangtd. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,840,000 quarters. The wool sales close to-morrow. To date 140,000 bales have been sold, and 10,000 field over for next auction. All descriptions of the fine and finest wool closed with pi ices firmly maintained. All descriptions of faulty and inferior wools and 6coured wools are a halfpenny lower than at the close of the September sales. ; New Zeaiand mutton, prime quality, has declined to oid per lb. Nov. 29. The wheat market is somewhat depressed. Off coast cargoes have been sold at 33s 6d to The new crop ia quoted at 34s 6d. The New Z-aland Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following cible message : - London, Nov. 25. The vvonl nrirker is unchanged. Up to date 96,000 bales have been sold.
