UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND (Ld.) mHE S.S. TAIAROA will, if sufficient J. inducement offers, make an Excursion to AKAROa on ANNIVERSARY DAY, 16th December. It is proposed that the steamer leave Timaruon Monday, 15th December, at 10 p.m., arriving in Akaroa early on Tuesday morning, leaving again same evening on return trip, arriving in Timaru early on Wednesday morning, so that country excursionists may be in time to catch the first trains. Passengers would thus have the whole day to spend in Akaroa. Early application is necessary to secure berths. Return fare (not including meals), 20s.
