OHRISTCHUBOH CORN EXCHANGE. The Corn Exchange report for flip week onding Friday evening, the 21st inst : The latest intelligence from the London market continues to depress values hero to such a degree that it is difficult to place wheat, excepting for urgent local consumption, at anything like remunerative prices. A few small lines have this week changed hands, at from 3s to 3s 41 f.o.b , chiefly for intercolonial trade, and these prices may be said to be the outside value. Oats are not near so well inquired for, and quotations are therefore sliarh'ly easier—2s 9d f.o.b- being about the figure for short stout feed, and bright, plump milling up to 3s f.0.b.; other kinds are almost neglected. Barley remains in just the same condition as to values and demand as has ruled for some months, and doubtless will showno no ticable alteration until the present growing crop comes to market. Beans and peas are very little sought after, although quotations are not afftfoted—3-1 to 3s 3J for the former, and 3s 3d to 3-s 6d f.o.b. for the latter. Potatoes are more eagerly inquired for, but without eliciting any active response, while prices are a little firmer, viz., 50\ to 52s 6d at country stations with>' n J2 miles. In dairy produce v~ C y little business has been done.
