The Corn Exchange report for tinweek ending Friday evening, the 14th inst ;
The wretched weather and the holidays have quite upset business in grain and produce during the week. The marvel consequently remains in much the same condition as the previous one with no immediate prospect of any change, while values are unaltered. Quotations to date :
vVheat—Prime milling, 3s to 3s 3d ; seconds, 2s 6d ; chick wheat, la 6d to Is 9d, f.o.b. Oats—Milling, 3s ; short feed, 2s lOd ; long oats, 2s 8d to 2s 9d, f.o.b. Barley—Malting, 4s ; second quality do, 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; feed, 2s to 2s 3d, Chiis'cluirch.
Beans and Peas —The former 3s 31 to 3s 4d ; the latter 3s to 3s 6 I, f.o.b.
Potato's —Nominal value at country stations within 12 miles, £2 ss. Butter—Gd to 7d, kegs extra, f.o.b. Cbieao -4d to f.o.b. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Nov. 11, The wool sales opened to-day with a good attendance or Loth Home and foreign buyers. The opening catalogue comprised 69,000 bales, and a good competition was experienced, and the closing prices of last sales were firmly maintained. The auctions close on the 29th instant.
