TIPS FOR MONDAY’S SPORTS.
The sports under the auspices of the Young Men’s Club on Monday next are exciting a great deal of interest in the minds of those taking part therein and since the handicaps have been published * it has been thought by some that the winners could easily be spotted. “ Sundowner ” and “ Crocker ” have sent ua their tips, which we publish, but at the same time we disclaim all responsbiiity for them.
“Sundowner’s” tips are as follows 100 Yards: J.Velvin, 1; R. Lavery, 2, 440 Yards Hurdles ; E. S. Smith, 1 ; W, Hobbs, 2. 250 Yards : G, Yelvin, 1; R. Lavery, 2. 440 Yards Members :R. Lavery, 1 ; E. S. _ Smith, 2. 1 Mile: T. Hobbs 1 ; E. Carr, 2. “Crocker” gives the following :—IOO Yards ;J. W. Velvin, 1; J. R. Laverv, ” 2. 250 Yards ;E. S. Smith, 1; Gee. Yelvin, 2. J-Mile Hurdles :E. S. Smith, 1; W. Hobbs, 2.2 Mile Bicycle Raca ; A. Nicholas, 1 ; O. Lucas, 2. J-Milo : T; Radford, 1;J. R. Lavery, 2, 1 Mil# Race :T. Hobbs, 1; E. S. Smith, 2.
