Anj Person may appoint the Public Trustee executor and trustee under his will or codioil. A y present trustee mey transfer the management of trust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, company, association or public body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating the trust.
Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may bo placed in the Public Trust Office, for such trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. The advantages offered are;— lot. State Guarantee against peculation, fraud or dishonesty. 2rd All proposed investments are considered by a Board, consisting of the Hon, Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney-General, the Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, atd the Public Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered it is therefore insured. I 3rd. No charge is made for obtaining prob-te, nor for patting stamps and property tax nor for correspondence, however voluminous. Thus the ' saving to estates placed in this iffica is considerable. E. G.
