The Timaru A. and P. Show this year was the most successful one held for the last few years. Let us hope hope that its success indicates coming prosperity. Its success, no doubt, is due to the energetic manner in which the Committee have gone to work for the last few months, and more especially to the Secretary, Mr F. W. Stubbs, whose untiring zeal in the interest of the Association was most conspicuous. He is, without exception, the most civil, the most obliging, and at the same time the most capable secretary we have come in contact with ; always willing to oblige and to do every thing as pleast ntiy as possible. The first day was disagreeable and very tow, except those who had business there were on the ground. The weather was moi§t snd cold, although very little fell, and it rendered everything unpleasant. The Weather on the second day was, however, everything that could h* debited, and the attendance was very Ufgo, The number exhibits was far in excess of the past few years, and the quality was uu-
doubtedly superior. The following is the prize list : SHEEP.
