Sir, —In answer to " Lorer of Music's " question as to whether the Temuka Brass Band is still in existence, 1 am glad to ba able to state that it is, and that, weather permitting, ii will gir« an open air concert in .the town on Tuesday evening next. Them have 'been many reasons (over which we had no control) why tb» band has not played oftener in public during the last six months, but we hope during 'he coming summer to be abl* to entertain "Lover of Music" and the public generally more than we have done of lat*.—l am, etc., Walter G.
