YOUNG MEN’S CLUB.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Observing the great success and popularity attendant upon the establishing of Young Men’s Clubs in various townships in the colony, I would earnestly suggest that a similar one should be started at Geraldine. In this township there is not one institution founded for the purpose of elevating the mind, for instructing and at the same time entertaining our young men. Certainly we have the Literary Institute, but what is specially wanted is a Club, whereby its members can assemble ami associate together instead of roaming about the streets during the evening. I trust, sir, that having ventilated the matter, steps will be, ere long, taken, so that soon the inauguration of the Club will he notified.—l am, etc., A Youvo- Man. Geraldine, Sept. 10.
