COURSING.
■’ Wednesday last was a day long to be remembered by the sporting fraternity of Geraldine. In response to an Invifation from Mr L. Walker,a large! party of ladies iind gentlemen ; assembled on Four Peaks Station for a| day’s coursipg. The weather was ■ splendid. Oh' glancing at the nominations given below, it will he seen that many good dogs were present. Mr Boyd Thomson )( of Temuka, acted as judge,-and it is ! needless to say that he performed his •duties to everybody’s satisfaction; As flag steward, Mr Polll.ill wat. ’ most attentive,'but the heaviest part of the work was undertaken by Mr Thos, Farrell, as slipper. V ' ' _ ‘ Mr L.
