AUCTION EERS’ REPORTS, 01BALD IF*.
Messrs J. Mundell and Co. repoit sales for tbe week ending Saturday, 26th July, 1884 We have no stock sales to report of any importance either public or private. The recent eleotkpßji have to soma extant interfered with file of the week, but we hope to see, as the spring advances, R more satisfactory interest evinced in the regular sales of stock, On Wednesday last we held u clearing sale (on account of Mr H. Chapman, at bis nursery) of fruit and forest trees. There was a large attendance of buyers, which resulted in tbe clearing of every lot advertised at prices satisfactory to the vendor. At the conclusion of the sale the demand for trees was nothing like satisfied. We also sold potatoes at 4s M and 4s 6d per sack. Nine and a quarter acres of land, adjoining the Government township of Geraldine, were withdrawn at £lO 10a per acre. We wish to remind the public that entries are now being received for our next monthly sale of slock, to be held in the Geraldine Yards on Wednesday, 1 August 6tb, 1884.
