IN Pursuance of ‘‘The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881,” I, WILLIAM WILLS, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Geraldine do hereby give Notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 27th day of June 1884, under the band of the Clerk of the Writs, an ELECTION will be held for the return of ONE QUALIFIED PERSON to serve as MEMBER for the said Electoral District; and that the NOMINATION of Candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrates Courthouse, Temuka, at noon on the 14th day of July 1884 ; and that the POLL (if necessary) will be taken at the several Polling Places of the said District on the 22nd day of July, 1884.
