T N PURSUANCE of the “ Road Boards Act, 1882,’ and “ The Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876,” I, WILLIAM WILLS, Returning Officer, of the Temuka District, do hereby give nolice that on ELECTION will take place on FRIDAY, the 9th day of May, 1884, for the purpose of Electing Two (2) Members on the Road Board in the place of Messrs James Austin and Michael Quinn, who retire by rotation. DOMINATIONS of Candidates must he made in the prescribed form and left at the Court House, Temuka, on or before TUESDAY, the 6th day of May 1884, at Noon.
