THE GERALDINE BAZAAR AND GIFT AUCTION.
The following was left out of our report in our last issue of the bazaar and gift auction, owing to the letter in which it was sent going astray,. The stalls were presided oyer by Mesdames Fish, Preston, Slack, Cook,' Manning, Temple and Foster, who provided them, Mesdames Tripp and Postlethwaile, being unable to provide tables, each sent £5. Mesdames Coltman and Hawke also sent liberal contributions in place of tables. A gentleman, who objected to his name being mentioned, gaye £3,- . Mrs Macdonald provided the handsome luncheon over which she presided. The following ladies and gentlemen sent contributions of work, provisions, etc.: —Mr and Mrs Manning, Mr and Mrs Cook, Mrs Gillingham (Fan-lie Creek), Mesdames Macdonald, Preston, Dennistoun, Acland, Tripp, Clark, J. Brown, Mcllraith, Fish, W. Moore, Huffey, Denoon, Temple, Foster, Tat,ban, Slack, h-epnje, Cameron, Bannister, Hawke, Lodge, Burridge, Bowden, Gardiner, Bartrum, Corbett, Willoughby, Mr and Mrs James Pye, Miss Taylor, Mr and Mrs John Pye, Mesdames Addis, Bell, Frude, Fifield, Clouston, Finch, Hughes, G. H. Clarke, Westropp, Dunlop, Chapman, J. Gregg, Ellis, Langdon, Berry, Shaw, Mundell and Donkin, Mis? Shannon, Miss Andrews, Miss Morrison, Messrs Sims, GjK F- Brown, Pearpoint, Kelland and Waite. At the auction sale many gentlemen very kindly bid for the arlieles, and, having paid for them, returned them to be again offered. I Mr Sijfiey bought and sold one pair of ducks I three times? ' ‘
Mesdames Turton, Slack, Temple, Miss ]Jooth (for Mrs Macdonald), and Miss Hammond sold the work.
