Tlie Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage ami Agency Company of -S T e\v Zealand (Limited) reports of the grain market as follows : Wheat, 4s to 4s Id, market active ; malting barley, in fair demand at* 4s 4d to 4s 8d ; New Zealand oats, feeding sorts, firmer at 2s Gd to 2s 9d ; for milling do there is good demand at 2s lOd to 2s lid ; New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s 5d to 2s 8d ; ryegrass, 4s to 4s 3d, market quieter. ■ENGLISH MARKETS. London, March 31. Wheat has fallen Is per bushel. Adelaide, ex store, 43s ; New Zealand, 35s to 41s. Adelaide flour has declined to 295. Australian tallow has declined G& per cwt. Beef, average quality, 37s ; mutton, 40s.
