NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE. -JVTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that J3l the Geraldine County Council intend BORROWING the sum of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT POUNDS (£2938) under “ The Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882,” for the purpose of Re-constructing the old portion of the Opild Bridge, which is estimated to cost £2938. The amount of the yearly repayments on the above loan by the Council is £264 8s sd, and the Special Rate to be made and levied will amount to One Tenth of a Farthing in the £ on the capital value of the County as per Ratepayers’ Roll of 1883. Plans, Specifications and detailed Estimates of the cost of such proposed work, may be seen at the Office of the Council during ordinary business hours. A POLL of the County Ratepayers will be taken on the above proposal in the manner provided by “The Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876,” on FRIDAY, April 4th, 1884, between the hours of 9 a.in. and 6 p.m.
