London, Jan. 28. The ship City of Lucknow has are rived at Gravesend. All who were on board the Simla have been saved. ,

Sydney, Jan. 29.. The sale of the New Zealand Stud and Pedigree Co.’s yearlings took yesterday. Nine were sold, and three? withdrawn. The total realised was 2500 guineas. The highest price paid was 1200 guineas by the Hon. James White, for a Musket—Onyx colt. The principal buyers were Messrs White, Fenelly, Long, and Kelso. The average obtained for the nine horses sold was 277 guineas. The cricket match between the Australian Eleven and Fifteen of New South Wales was resumed to-day. The eleven continued their first innings, which closed for 272, and the stumps were then drawn for the day. Later; At the cricket match, Australian team v. New South Wales, today, the former lost six wickets for 827 runs when the stumps were drawn. The match was therefore drawn.
