The Corn Exchange report for the week ending Friday evening, the 71h inst. - The demand for sound milling wheat still continues, although stocks in (he hands of original owners is insignificant, the trade consequent!}' being confined to merchants. It would he exceeding rash to estimaia the probable prospects of harvest in (be face of the weather which has prevailed for some time past. Fur mers of heavy land complain very much of the coldness of the soil, and the consequent backwardness of crops, although on light lands the numerous light showers have had a very beneficial effect. In oats a fair amount of business has been done in prime milling and good heavy feed at

ruling prices inferior qu .1. ts quite neglected. Barley does not ineoi with attention, owing to maltsters b> ing fully supplied. The recent sliipmcirs of butter per lonic, by reducing stocks, leads to the anticipation of fuller rates.
