AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS.

OHEISTOHUEOH. Messrs Robert Wilkin and Co. report : At the Aldington yards on Wednesday, a very limited entry of fat sheep came forward, which was mainly owing to the very heavy rainfall ot the previous day. There was a fair attendance of the trade, and the biddings were spirited throughout the sale. Prime drafts of both crossbred and merinos met ready sales at satisfactory advances on late quotations, while the enquiries for store sheep were again very keen; more especially for merino wethers' (in the wool) and young crossbreds. In fat cattle a full supnl i came forward, a fair proportion of which comprised prime and good quality lots, which realised prices about equal to an average 23s per lOOlbs. 'lhe total entries for the week's supply comprised—ss62 sheep, 413 head of cattle and 62 pigs. First class crossbred wethers, Ist prizetakers at the Metropolitan show, realised 18s 6d ; two-tooth crossbred wethers, 16s.

AUSTRALIAN MARKETS,

Melbourne, Nov. 14

Goldsboro' and Co. (limited) offered 7100 bales at their wool sale to day. 6400 bales were sold, greasy realising up to 15d and Bcoured up to 20d. A good demand was experienced, esp?cially on the part of American and Continental buyers.

At the wool sales to-day, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency offered 2700 bales, of which 2500 were sold. There was a large attendance of Home and foreign buyers. Good competition was experienced, and prices were firmly maintained.

ENGLISH MAEKETS.

London, Nov. 12

Adelaide wheat hns advanced 6d per quarter, and is now quoted at 465, New Zealand ditto remains at 38s 6d to 43s 6d. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, is worth 325.

Nov. 14.

The wool market is firm, and prices for crossbred are n half-penny to a penny higher than at the close of the sales of last month. The arrivals 'to date for the next auction commencing on Tuesday, the 20th inst., are 90,000 bales. The total probable quantity to be offered including the bales left over from last series, will be, 50,000.
