A few good draughts were sold from L 24 to L3O ; ordinary and inferior, from LlB to L 22. Hacks—There are few good hacks at present in the market. These would find ready purchasers. ; Sheep—Store sheep are beginning to b<? enquired after, and prices after shearing will doubtless be considerably above former values. At present thera is little doings a few lines of hoggets changing hands at ordinary values. They have no important sales to report. Fat sheep are becoming scarce, and in consequence dear. There are but few good lots in the market, aud owners are expecting advancerl prices. Good 'mutton is worth from 3d to 3£d per lb.

Cattle—'the demand is still, dull for ordinary lots of store cattle 1 , and unless for well forward steers and heifer?, there is almost no enquiry. Fat cattle.— Prices ruling are fair, but ia proportion beef is considerably cheaper than mutton at present. Prime beef is worth about 25s per 1001 b. J Wool, Skins, Fat, Bides, etc.—They held their usual fortnightly sale last; Wednesday, at which a very full entry was received, and notwithstanding a considerable drop in the mat ket, they succeeded in placing the whole of tlipir lots (with.one e'xceptioh'j at-"fair prices, best butchers'; skins fetching from 4« to 4s7d (Medium Tots "'from 3s 6d to 4s,
