He stands 16 hands 3, inches, high, has short legs and perfect fbet; He has a grand constitution, immense bone, and a splendid temper. Lord. Loftus’ sire, Sir Colin Campell, was by the well-known,pure-bred Clydesdale, (King Fergus (imported), dam Scotland’s Pride (imported), a Pure bred Clydesdale Mare, and winner of many prizes. Lord Loftns’ dam was the Pure: bred Clydesdale Mare , by Napoleon, grand dam Jean, by Wellington. Lord Loftus is a sure foal-getter, some of the Finest Stock in the district being his progeny.
