■ ♦ ; AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, Sept. 11. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports of the local grain market as follows : Wheat, shipping parcels are in fair demand at 4s lid to ss; fowls' ffheat is slow of sale at 3s 4d to 4s 3d • milling barley, 5s to 6s 2d, market steady ; a moderate enquiry is experienced for New Zealand oats at 2s lid to 3s 2d for feeding sorts, and 3s 2d to 3s 3d for milling do; New Zealand oatß under bond are quoted at 2s 2d to 2s 4i, market quiet. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Sept. 10. The wheat market continues dull. Adelaide wheat *ex store, 47 s; New Zealand ditto has fallen sixpence, and is now quoted at 42s 6d to 465. Adc • I aide flour ex store remains at 335.
The tallow market is unchanged. Australian, best beef, 40s ; boßt mutton, 41s.
The catalogue of to-day's wool sale comprised 12,500 bales. A fair demand was experienced.
