AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS. CU3EAX.DINB. Messrs J. Mandell and Co. report that owing to the inclemency of the weather, their monthly sale of stock at their yards, Geraldine, has been postponed till Wednesday, 12th September next. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, Sept. 4. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports of the local grain market as follows : The wheat market is firm and steady ; shipping parcels are worth 4s lOd to 4s lid ; fowls’ wheat, 3s 9d to 4s 4d ; malting barley dull at 5s to 6s 3d ; the market irregular. New Zealand oats are quieter; milling sorts, 3s 2d to 3s 3d ; feeding do, 2s lid to 3s 3d ; ditto under bond are slow of sale at 2s 2d to 2s 4cl.
