AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Mklbouknb, Aug. 28. The? Shipping wheat, 4s lOd to 4s lid ; fowls’ wheat, 3s 91 to 4s 3d ; malting barley, firm at 5s 3d to 6s 3J (market active). New Zealand oata are in fair demand at 2s lld to 8s 2d for feeding, and 3s 2d to 3s 3d for mill* ing qualities* New Zealand oats under bond, 2s 2J to 2s sd. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Aug. 25. The wheat market is dull, and to effect sales lower prices must be accepted, To-day’s quotations for colonial breadstuffs are :—Adelaide wheat, ex store, 48s ; New Zealand wheat, ex store, 44s to 48s ; Adelaide flour, 345. Aug. 27. The breadstuffs market continue dull. Adelaide wheat has declined by one shilling, to 47s ex store. Adelaide flour has suffered a similar fail, and is to-day at 33s ex store. New Zealand wheat, ex store, is quoted at from 44» to 465, a decline of 2s in the finest qualities. Australian tallow remains at 40s 6d for best beef, and 4ls 6d fur best mutton. At the wool sales to day 11,00(1 bales were catalogued. No improvement iu (.rices was experienced.
