A LILLIPUTIAN MARRIAGE.
The marriage of a couple of diminutive specimens of humanity is thus recorded in a Home paper:— At Brooklyn, New York, on Bth mat., by Rev H 0. Pentecost, of the Park Avenne Baptist Church, Major Littlefinger and Miss Ida Hosraer, in the pre ssnee of a large assemblage. The Major who is a widower, is twenty-four years of age and tips the scales at 54 pounds. h?s height being 3 feet and 6 inches. His wife, a dwarf, whose maiden name was Millie Shay, died in June last at Kendall, Ind., her native place. She left a child now living, which weighs 6 pounds. The Major’s real name is Robert H. Huzza, and he hails from Boston, Mass, It was while exhibiting at Hartford, Conn., that he met the young lady who won his affections. Miss Hosmer is 25 years of age, 3 feet high, and weighs 45 pounds. Her brother and sister, who were present, opposed the union ; but the lady asserted her determination to wed Major Littlefinger, and did so. The bride was attired in white satin, and the groom wore a full dress suit, white necktie, and gloves.
