ENGLISH HARVEST PROSPECTS.
Despite the inclement weather, a favorable wheat crop is expected, and the prospect of the hop crop ia excellent. The British harvest is delayed by cold weather and frequent rains. An average yield is expected. On the Continent the prospects are also generally good. American spring sown crops will give an average yield, and winter sown one-fifth below the average.
