AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS.

TIMAEU. Messrs Maclean and Stewart report for the past week ending Saturday us follows ; Horses—At their yards to-day a small entry was received for sale, and with one or two exceptions, the lots offered were light and inferior draughts, and a few fair hackneys. They have to report a slight improvemant in the demand for good draughts, and several buyers had to leave their yards to-day without getting the horses they required, in consequence of the few good sorts offering. For inferior draughts and ordinary hacks, there is still but little enquiry. They sold by auction to-day a team of 4 very fair draught geldings, together with their harness and. wagon at LI 20 for the lot; altogether they disposed of 20, at the following pricesFrom L 26 to £3O for good draughts ; from £l7 to £2O for medium sorts ; hacks, from £8 to £l4. Cattle.—There is still but little improvement in the prices offering for store cattle, and unless for well-grown steers and heifers, there is but little enquiry. A considerable number of all kinds were entered for sale at the Washdyke Yards last Monday, and a fair proportion found purchasers. They sold about 60 head at the following prices:—Cows, from L2 to L 4 10s well-forward steers and heifers from L 3 to L 5 ; calves at from 17s 6d to 20s. At Winchester last Thursday, few cattle came forward for sale, and the sale was the dullest which has taken place there for some time back. They have no transactions in cattle of importance to report at Thursday's sale. Fat cattle—The price of these at present for prime beef may be quoted at 20s per lOOlbs. They have placed a few small lots at prices equal to the above quotations. Sheep.—The market for store sheep has not improved during the week, and owners who are short of feed and have to dispose of their sheep, have to accept of reduced prices from what were ruling some considerable time back. At the Washdyke Yards last Monday, tbey entered and sold the following lots, viz,:—77l merino ewes at 4s ; 200 cross-bred ewes at 13s 6d, and 117 cross-bred ewes at 10s lid. Fat sheep— These are keeping up in price, and may be quoted at about 2£d to 2£d per lb.

Malarial Fever.—Malarial fevers, constipation, torpidity of the liver and kid , neys, general debility, nervousness and neuralgic ailments yield readily to this great disease conqueror, Hop Bittert. It repairs tho ravages of disease by converting the food into rich blood, and it gives new life and vigor to tho aged and infirm. See. Hollow ay's Pills.—The chief wonder of modern times.—This incomparable medicine increases the appetite, strengthens the stomach, cleanses the liver, corrects biliousness, prevents flatulency, purifies the system, invigorates the nerves, and reinstates sound health. The enormous demand for these Pills throughout the globe astonishes everybody, and a single trial convinces the most sceptical that no medicine equals Holloway's Pills in its ability to remove all complaints incidental to the human race. They are a 'olefins: to the afflicted, and a boon to all that labor under internal or external disease. The purification of the blood, removal of all restraint from the secretive organs, and gentle aperitive action are the prolific sources'of the extensive range of Holloway's Pills. : ; ____-.
