A Disappointed Bridegroom,—On Wednesday at Q-isborn*, a couple attended the Ca hollo Church for the purpose of getting married. The ceremony had proceeded to the point where the priest put the quest ion to the bridegroom, “ Wilt thou take this woman to be thy lawful wedded wife?” ‘ I will,” was the reply. “ Wilt thou take this man to be thy lawful wedded husband?” said the priest to the bride and just then a note was placed in her hand by a spectator, containing something “I will no:,” said the bride, and at once rushed out of the church end disappeared. The welding ceremony was thus abruptly brought to an end.
