Another Phoenix Park prisoner, Timothy Kelly, was hanged to-day in Dublin. June 10. It has transpired that the friends of Doaul Pasha, who was hanged at Alexandria yesterday, appealed to Mr Gladstone to use his influence to obtain a commution of sentence of death, but that the Premier refused to interfere in the matter. June 11. A course of festivities which have been organised in Birmingham in honor o.Hhe Right Hon John Bright, and which will occupy a week, commemd to-day.
