Melbourne, June 5, The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Co. ot New Zealand, Limited, reports of the local grain market as follows : Shipping wheat 5s Id to 5s 2d ; prices are barely maintained. Malting barley, 5s 3d to 6a, the market steady. New Zealand oats, under bond, are quoted at 2s 3d to 2s 6J. The demand has slackened and prices have declined.

ENGLISH MARKETS. London, June 2. At the wool sale to-day, 11,400 bales were catalogued . The tone of the sales was firm. June 4. Adelaide wheat ex store 48s,and New Zealand wheat 44s to 475.
