The Saltation Army.— The Salvation Army held a tea meeting on Tuesday night in the Garrison Hall, Dunedin. There were 2500 persons present, and about 1600 sat down to tea. One or two leading citizens gave testimony as to the good work being done by the Array. Amongst those who stood up as examples, of the work of the Army was a female who admitted having been a gaol bird. All the officers addressed the meeting, which lasted from five o’clock to ten. It was announced (hat a New Zealand War Cry would be published in June.
