4USTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, May 8. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company repoits of the local grain market as follows :—Shipping wheat is quiet at 5s 3d to 5s 4d ; malting barley, 5 a lOd to 6s, the market being strong. New Zealand oats are in fair demand at 2s lOd to 3s 2d for feeding and 3s 3d to 3s 4d for milling. New Zealand oats under bond are quoted at 2s 3d to 2s Bd. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, May -1. Colonial breadstuffs continue quiet. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, is worth 40s, and New Zealand wheat, ex warehouse, 45s to 48s 6d. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, is quoted at 34s 6d. Australian tallow has further declined. Beef is now quoted at 435, ami best mutton at 455.
