GERALDINE ROAD BOARD.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir.— Will you permit rae to ask the Geraldine Road Board why no notice has been taken by them of a Aintnerously signed requisition, sent to Ito'them some six months ago praying -that they would have the road made from Orari to Mouut Peel. At the present time some portion nf the road is scarcely a track. It is a main road and the only one by which settlers can get timber and firewood from the bush to the Flat, and it something is not done while the fine weather lasts, farmers compelled to use the road will be put to serious loss in time, and wear and tear of horses, drays, and harness ; and men who are now waiting for work will have to seek employment in other districts.— 1 am, etc., Resident,
