The Victorian revenue returns to 31st March have been published. They show that the total receipts for the, Mann quarter amounted to £1,475,01.0 a decrease of £67,000 compared with the same qaaiter of last year, The falling off is chiefly in excise and land revenue. The revenue for the year ended 31st March was £5,631,000, an increase of £BB,OOO, or a net increase by £42,(>00 in the first nine months of the financial year ending 3)th June.
