During the current week, the ca' logues at the wool sales have aggrega' 42,000 bales, oi which 6COO hare b withdrawn. A good demand has b experienced, and prtees are firu< maintained. The withdrawals from t! sale since the opening of the sei amount to 18,000 bales out of a t-' of 235,000 catalogued. The sec< ,-. series of auctions commences on 1' 16th May, and is expected to compii 350,001 bales,
