DEAR SIR, —At a meeting of Householders held at the Wallingford Hofei last evening to consider the advisability of bringing this Township under the provisions of “ Tiie Municipal Corporations Act 1876,” or of “The Town Districts Act 1881,” it was unanimously resolved that a Public Meeting be held to consider the question, and that a Committee consisting of the following gentlemen, viz,, Messrs Gray, Franks, Pearpoint, J. T. M. Hayhurst, Aspinall, Kirk, Ollivier, Twomey, and Ashwell, be appointed to gather information necessary to lay before such Public Meeting. The Committee having collected the necessary information have now respectfully to request you, as Chairman, of tho Road Board, to convene a Public Meeting of the Inhabitants of the Township to consider the matter, and would suggest that the Meeting be called for Monday "next.
