Questionable Teeatuent. —The shooting of a convict at Dartmoor Prison has given rise to a considerable feeling in the neighborhood of Dartmoor. It appears that the attack was seen by a number of navvies who vvere engaged at the time on a railway work. They say that two warders Loth fired at the convict at close quarters, and also beat him with the bu t end of their rifles while he was lying helpless on the ground. A searching investigation into this affair has been called for.
