Tn accordance with a promise mide a litt'e while bick to make public wellpttes'ed cases of either cures or failures to care under Mr Milner.Stephen's treatment, the New Zealand Times publishes the following remarkable statement, which at any rate bears all the usual indicati ns of being true :—'Masterton, January 27th, 1883.—Dear Sir. —I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude for what vnii Ipive done for me. People that knew me in M isterton will hardly believe their eyes when they see me walking upright, and all the wealth in the world, if I had it, fvm'd not express my thanks, —I am, etc.. James Day."—The above testimonial watwritten at Mr Day's request and dictation, nnd I can, from my own knowledge, verify what he states, having recommended him to Mr Stephen without the leasexpectation that he could relieve him, no: to say effect such a marvellous change he has done.—A.
