ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

winchester. At tilts ra eeling of householders held in Winchester last Monday, Mr Thos. Swinton|was voted lo the chair. The following Committee were elected for the ensuing year : —Messrs W. A. Murray, Geo. Taylor, W. Deßenzy, Thos Swinton, W. Steele, James Paterson and Win, Blisset. At a meeting cf the Committee afterwards held Mr \V. H. Murray was chosen Chairman for the ensuing year. GERALDINE. At the manual meeting of householders held last Monday in Geraldine, Mr 11 II Pearpoint was elected Chairman. The annual report was road and adopted, and a cordial vote of thanks passed to the outgoing Comm ttee. Iho following were elected a Committee for the ensuing year Messrs Shiers, Cook, A. Sherratt, Andrews, Mnndeli, 0. E. Slieiratf, and N. Dunlop. At the Committee meeting subsequently held Mr Cook was elected Chairman. WAITOHX. The annual meeting of householders was held in the schoolhou.se, Waitchi, last Monday evening. Mr John Talbot was elected Chairman. The report of the outgoing Committee was read mid adopted. Messrs John Talbot, S. Cunie, Scott, Moore, Hullan, Anderson, and Seaton were elected a Committee for the ensuing year. At a meeting of the Committee subsequently held Mr John Talbot was elected Chairman. MILFOED. No meeting of householders took place at Milford last Monday night. A new date will now have to le fixed for electing a Committee, when it is to be hoped that the householders will attend in force.
