A TWO-SIDED PERSON.
The St. Louis Globe Democrat tells a story of a two sided person who lived some years in Flora Cay County, 111, He never been sick since ho was an infant, and had never had the slightest touch of paralysis. Notwithstanding, his face and chest on one side were profusely bathed in praspiration, even on the coldest, day in winter, while on the ot her side, taking the nose for a dividing line, no sign of perspiration was ever seen, even in the hottest days of midsummer. This, of course, excited considerable remark and amuse* ment. But his appearance was still more s riking when, silting in one of the country stores of an evening he would go to deep on one -ide, with that eye fast closed, while the other side would be wide awake, and he would be keeping up his end of the conversation. When last seen he was to some extent outgrowing his peculiarity, but probably never fully did so.
