CORRESPONDENCE.
A GOOD SUGGESTION. TO THE EDITOR. Sie, —May I ask for a short space in your valuable paper. As sheep owners are warned about brands being re registered on or before January, 1883, I, for one, travelled 22 miles last Saturday in order to comply with the Act, The Inspector, I was told, was from home, no doubt doing his duty ; but could not that officer's duty be much lightened by his attendance on a given day at each Hoad Board Office, or at a County Office and there register the brands, and givie a notice in each paper to that effect. As I am about to leave the district, I was anxious to complete my duties with the flock 1 was looking after, but from the foregoing I was prevented. If you think this worth your while to notice I shall be pleased by your inserting the same. | I am, etc. Old Peacxxcal. Tcmuka, Dec. 5,1882,
