Temuka—Monday, Nov. 27, 1882
[Before S. D. Barker, and J. MendelsoD, Esqrs., J.P.'s] civil cases. W. Ford v. P. Oraw—Claim £2 Is 2d. A telegram was received from the defeodent asking for an adjournment. The plaintiff objected to the adjournment, and judgment was given for the amount claimed and costs. Walker v. T. Swinton-Claim £lO, for detinue of a box. There was a cross action of Swinton v. Walker—Claim £1 17, for refreshments. Air White, who appealed on behalf of the plaintiff, stated that the cases had been amicably settled. The Court then adjourned.
