The Chairman stated that a telegram had been despatched to Mr Pharazyn to send out a competent manager from England, Suicide. —An inquest was held on Robert Powsll, who hanged himself at New Plymouth. The evidence showed that up to about a : quarter of an hour before he was found hanging, he, was engaged in ■ his ordinary business in the store, and neither said nor did anything to lead to the supposition that anything was "wrong. The jury returned a rerdict of felo do se, and the Coroner ordered his body to be interred between the hours of 9 and f 2 last Wednesday night, ’ Holloway’s Ointment and Pills. — Rhen matism and Rheumatic Gout are the most dreaded of all diseases, because their victims know that they are safe at no season, and at no age secure. Holloway’s Ointment, after fomentation of the painful parts, gives greater relief than any other medicine, but it must be diligently used to obtain this desirable result. It has been highly commended by rheumatic subjects of all ages, and of both sey.es, for rendering their attacks less fr quent and less vigorous, and for repressing the sour perspiration and soothing the nerves. In many cases Holloway’s Ointment and Pills have proved the greatest blessings in removing rheumatism and rheumatic gout which had assailed persons previously and at the prime of life.—[Advt.] mu mu u-juia—uff |f, || Q_EOR GE LEVENS ■VETERINARY SURGEON; TEWUKA, Orders left at the Royal Hotel, Temnka will be punctually attended to.
