ENGLISH AND FOREIGN. Londok Aug. 22. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, is unchanged at 48s 6d, and New Zealand do at 475. Off coast cargoes of Adelaide wheat are now quoted at 48s 6d, an , advance of 6d. Adelaide flour is worth 85s. Australian tallow—Best beef, 44 ; best mutton, 45s 6d, 4.50 p.m. . The Chinese Government have passed a resolution expressing regret at the • t action of the Queensland Government in reference to Chinese immigration. The wool sales opened to-day. The balance of medium wools held over from last sales wera catalogued. There was i a full attendance of home and foreign buyers, and the bidding was keen. All good wools realised the average of last pales. The quantity available was. 800,000 bales. Ten men who hav# been arrested have been fully identified as the perpetrators ot the recent murderous outrage gf Connemara. : ■
