THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE AND MRS ROWE.

TO THX EDITOR. Sir, — : I have s«en two letter* in your paper about: the action of the Temuka School Committee towards Mrs Rowe. I thought the last a pretty warm odb, but it seems not to have had the least effect upon the Committee so far as doinff anything towards repairing the injury done, 1 believe that a majority of the members have admitted that the action they took in reference to the dismissal of Mrs Rowe was altogether wrong, but at the same time they have not the manliness to come forward and admit it publicly. It would be too great a shock. They could not allow their. prestige to fall Hk« that. I should like to know, Mr Editor, who will suffer the most by this folly, Mrs Rowe or the Committee I —l am, etc., Onlooker.
