ODDFELLOWS’ SPORTS AT GERALDINE.
The athletic sports held under the auspices of the Geraldine Lodge of Oddfellows passed off very satisfactorily on the Queen’s Birthday. The sports were held on the old racecourse. There was a large attendance, and the various events were well contested. Mr J. M. O’Connor, the champion walker, gave a walking exhibition, going over a mile in 7 rain. 16 secs.
