AUSTRALIAN. Melbourne, May 23. In the Theatre Royal last night,, while a larrikin who was creating a disturbance was being arrested, a false alarm of fire was raised. There was a general rush for the doors, but the panic was soon allayed. Several persons were injured by the crush during the stampede. Sydney, May 23. Telegrams have been received from Woollongong reporting that the steam collier Llewellyn, 470 tons, of this port, had been wrecked near that place. The crew got ashore in safety. The vessel is insured in the Union office for £IOOO, and in the New Zealand Insurance Office for £250, Brisbane, May 23. Two miners working on the G-ympie goldfields were blown to pieces today by an accidental explosion of gunpowder.
