ON SATURDAY, May 6th, an EXCURSION TRAIN will leave Timaru for Christchurch at 6.40 a.m., arriving at Christchurch at 11.20 a.m., returning from Christchurch at 8.30 p.m., arriving at Timaru nt 1.0 a m. The Train for Christchurch will stop at any Station between Timaru and Ash burton to pick up passengers for Christcharch, and the return Train will stop to allow passengers to alight at the same Stations. Fares from Timaru, Washdyke, Temuka, Winchester. Orari, and Rangitata to Christchurch and back : First Class, 15s ; Second Class, 12s. First class carriages will not be guaranteed in the event of there being a large number of firstclass passengers booked. Excursionists from Timaru may procure their Tickets on the day previous to the date of the Excursion. The cheap Tickets will be available for return either by the 8.30 p.m. Excursion Train from Christchurch same day, or by any Ordinary Train up to and including the 13th May.
