Mukdekous Assaults. Samuel Cos, charged with stabbing a colored man named William Hall in the late fracas at the San Francisco Oyster Restaurant, Auckland, has been committed for trial, bail being allowed, £loo,himself and two sureties of £SO each. At Christchurch, last Friday, a man named Young and his wife were quarrelling, when the latter’s brother, named Horne, interfered. and severely handled Young. The latter then stabbed him three or four times 5 an ll Horne lies in a Tory critical state.
