QUARTERLY REVENUE RETURNS.

The following are the revenue returns telegraped from Wellington for the quarter ended 31st ult., which amounted to £1,101,349, including Customs, £366,235 ; railways, £205,812 ; stamps. £36,399 ; postal, £34,398 ; telegraph, £19,345 ; beer duty, £17,024; judicial, £16,679 ; depasturing licenses, £36,927. The land fund shows receipts of £177,838, and expenditure, £119,118. Of the public works fund for tbe quarter, the expenditure was £331,289, including £49,500, for the redemption of debentures. Local bodies accounts of receipts are £28,322, including license fees £1786, goldfields revenue £5475, and gold duty £9395. Expenditure £17,113 balance in hand £11,809.
